I love it when the weather is nice enough for me to go out on the back porch for my morning coffee and Bible reading. That doesn't happen often around here. Coffee + humidity + heat = :0/
I hope that you never put down your paintbrush because your work is so evocative and beautifully created. This just captures that sense of pleasure that comes from rituals and quiet moments in a day that we all cherish. Thank you so much for the lovely comment on my blog this morning.
My MIL is the proud owner of that one. I get a lot of compliments on it and it was fun to do. Thank you! I don't think I know The Vicar of Hogsmeade - I believe I just ran across her while visiting Quotidian Grace and liked her blog.
I have scrolled through the first page of your blog and looked at all of your work-such a variety and all of it is so nice! I really do like the cup of coffee-nice nice! Exploring different techniques and styles is nice for all artists. Creating is the most important thing of all and you do that very well! Thanks for sharing,
Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment and for your encouraging words. It's amazing how good it can feel to just sit down and create for awhile. I just wish I had time enough for all my ideas!

Thank you, Barbara. I am taking your blog post "When Beautiful is True" to share with my art group today.

MJ, I wanted to tell you I love "Road to a Villa"--it reminds me so much of Tuscany.
Incidentally, how do you know my friend the Vicar of Hogsmeade?
Thank you, Heather. I do so appreciate your kind words.

Your paintings are lovely! I especially like this one with the lovely glass and the snippet of your sweetner and your Bible.
Thanks, Jana, and for taking the time to stop by too!
